SUMMER MOCKTAIL CLASS:

BUILDING FLAVOUR, SYRUPS & SHRUBS

Ever wondered how we create some of the signature ingredients that find their way into Spilt's drinks?

Join us for a hands-on workshop exploring two versatile techniques for building flavour: cold-process syrups and vinegar shrubs. Together, we'll make an apple, rose & hibiscus cold-process syrup, learn the fundamentals of crafting a balanced shrub, and discuss how these ingredients can be used to add depth, acidity, and complexity to drinks.

You'll also learn to make two non-alcoholic cocktails—one featuring each preparation—and gain the confidence to experiment with these techniques in your own kitchen.

Whether you're a curious home bartender, a food enthusiast, or simply looking for a creative evening out, this class offers a practical introduction to some of our favourite flavour-building methods.

Tuesday, July 21st, 6:15 - 7:45 PM

JULY BOOK CLUB:

FASCINATING CANUCKS

In recognition of our beautiful and complex country, this month's book club theme celebrates remarkable Canadians.

Choose a book written by a Canadian author or one about a fascinating Canadian figure—past or present. From artists and activists to athletes, scientists, politicians, and everyday people with extraordinary stories, we're looking forward to discovering the people and perspectives that have helped shape Canada.

Wednesday, July 29th, 7:00 - 9:00 PM

The Spilt Book Club is open to everyone. Bring any book that fits the theme—or simply come to listen. The goal is to gather in person, discover new books, and share ideas.

SPILT is here to spill its secrets!

Education is at the centre of SPILT, and a major part of our offerings include both public and private mocktail classes. When you're not limited by booze, the world of ingredients and flavours is endless.

Taking a culinary-forward approach to mixology, SPILT delights in showing thirsty patrons how to craft deliciously complex flavours with seasonal ingredients and what you probably already have in your pantry and fridge at home.
